2. Services Provided
We provide plumbing and heating services, including but not limited to:
- Boiler servicing, repairs, and replacements (domestic and commercial)
- General plumbing repairs and installations
- Boiler maintenance, installation and safety checks
- Leak detection and repairs
- Bathroom design and full renovations
- Emergency plumbing call-outs (24/7 service subject to availability)
All service provide by Hyde Plumbing & Heating will be carried out or supervised by a qualified engineer.
3. Quotations and Estimates
All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.
Estimates are provided based on the information available at the time and may be subject to change if additional work or parts are required.
A quotation or estimate does not constitute a binding contract until confirmed in writing and/or payment has been received.
4. Pricing and Payment
Prices are quoted in pounds sterling (£GBP) and are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.
Payment terms will be agreed prior to work commencing. Unless otherwise specified, payment is due before work begins.
We accept payment via BACS transfer (bank transfer).
Late payments may be subject to statutory interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
We reserve the right to adjust a quotation after payment if:
- material costs increase
- additional labour is required
- the customer requests additional work
5. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled appointment.
Cancellations made within 48 hours may incur a cancellation fee. Customers are also liable for the cost of any materials purchased and reasonable labour costs already incurred.
We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel appointments due to unforeseen circumstances, such as staff illness, emergencies, or supplier delays.
6. Warranty and Liability
We are not liable for:
- pre-existing faults or issues not caused by our work
- normal wear and tear
- damage caused by misuse, neglect, or failure to follow instructions
- items covered under a manufacturer’s warranty (which must be pursued with the manufacturer directly)
Our liability is limited to the value of the services provided and does not extend to indirect or consequential losses (e.g. but not limited to: loss of earnings, water damage to personal property, or business interruption).
Warranty on parts and other intems installed are carried with the manufacturer and not with Hyde Plumbing & Heating. We will do everything we can to ensure that warrantied products are handled however we hold no liability for products installed that later experience warranty issues that is no result of a failure by our team.
We carry appropriate public liability insurance and will provide details upon request.
7. Customer Responsibilities
Customers must ensure safe and reasonable access to the property.
Areas where work will take place should be cleared of personal belongings where possible.
Customers are responsible for obtaining any necessary permissions (e.g., landlord consent, building regulations approval).
8. Emergency Call-Outs
Emergency call-out charges will be confirmed prior to attendance.
Response times are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed, although we will always aim to respond as quickly as possible.
9. Subcontractors
We may engage carefully selected subcontractors to carry out some or all of the services. All subcontractors will be appropriately qualified and insured.

While we make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy, we do not guarantee completeness or reliability.
All images, graphics, and visual content displayed on this website are the property of Hyde Plumbing & Heating (unless they have been provided to us by an end customer) and are protected by copyright law.
